On a perdu quelqu'un de grand, il restera toujours dans mon coeur, cher "Papy Charles" !
Je dois dire que ce matin à la messe, ma gorge était fort nouée.
Mais j'essayais de me souvenir des moments magnifiques passés à Farnières, au SMJ !
J'ai pensé à son sourire (permanent) et son "qué bazar" inoubliable pour éviter des larmes.

I am sad today, José Manuel Martínez, a friend of mine, told me that Père Charles had passed away last Saturday. I was so lucky to meet him, père Jean Imbretch and Frère Albert (+) in 1999 in the camp that Spanish CMDE celebrated every year in Santa Cruz (A Coruña). I remember him with a big smile and a strong voice that sounded sweet at the same time. His way of speaking really attracted the atention of the, in that moment teenagers, that were there... with him I learnt that being a priest is much more than preaching in a pulpit... you were working hand to hand with young people... with the future of Christian faith, you saved dozens of children from the war in Rhuanda you gave him education and principles to be on the way you were. I am very proud of having met you Père Charles and I know that now that you are with your Father... you will be taking care of all of us and guiding us as well in the path of trustworthiness. Since last Saturday, there is a new big star in the sky... shine forever Père Charles and rest in peace dear friend. ALBA BARO

Mes parents s'en méfiaient pourtant il aura fait beaucoup de bien à tant de jeunes avec les SMJ. Il nous a fait découvrir que le Christ peut animer toute une vie, pour qui cherche simplement à écouter sa voix. Il nous aura aussi fait aimer l'eucharistie à Farnières. Merci Père Charles de ce simple secrte, qui soutient toujours mon existence
