Maeve worked with me when she first came to Brussels, and was part of a team which built an excellent consulting practice.I have not seen her for many years, but was shocked and saddened to hear that she was no longer with us.

I’m shocked, I’m sad, I have this strong feeling of unfairness…

I sincerely hope that your family inherits your perseverance and your ever-present warmth for the people around you. I have had the honor of working together with you for two years, at the time when we experienced a diffuse time with IPS Netherlands . Your immense personal commitment, with your heart in the right place for the people and the world of Mercer’s IPS, you were one of the few truly authentic managers I knew at Mercer. I always knew I could rely on you. As a manager you have therefore been a great example for me, probably much more than I ever let you know. It feels very strange to thank you now for this via a digital portal. I have thought several times last year to contact you, just to ask how you were doing. Unfortunately I had no idea you were so sick. I reassure myself with the thought that I can now remember you as a strong woman who stood always ready for everyone and everything. Maeve, you have enriched my life and I look back with satisfaction to the two years that I have been able to collaborate with you. You have touched me as a person and thanks to you I have been able to let my own authenticity grow. Life is hard and unfair. It is terrible to say goodbye to you so young. Maeve, truly thanks for having known you personally.
